Sean John Combs [also known by his stage names Puff Daddy, Puffy, P. Diddy and Diddy] a famous American rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, record producer, and entrepreneur, on June 15th, announced that he has partnered up with Zap Oracles, a platform built for the creation of smart contracts and DApp compatible data feeds.
Diddy, who has served several roles within the music, acting and business industries, has won three Grammy Awards and two MTV Video Music Awards and is the producer of MTV’s Making the Band. In 2018, Forbes rated his net worth at $825 million, making him the second-richest hip-hop artist in the US, after Jay-Z.
Zap API is a set of tools that allow peers to exchange and monetize their data and Zap’s Ethereum extension is an additional layer added to Ethereum Blockchain which solves the oracle problem. It appears that the firm will be concentrating on organizing data feeds. According to the company website:
“Our first step was developing a market for curating data feeds. Now that we have built a solid infrastructure, we’re working with key partners to develop powerful data feeds capable of impacting the global economy. Zap is bridging the gap between real-world data and diverse smart.”
